SENIOR CLASS PROGRAMS FOR 2006 (GRADUATION CRUISES)
Chaperone Policy
Global Travel Alliance requires that each senior class group must have at least one chaperone for every ten students. As per the cruise lines’ normal requirements, these chaperones must be at least 25 years of age. However, Global Travel Alliance does not require that these chaperones be berthed with the students.
Security Deposit / Loss of Security Deposit
Due to past experiences with damages sustained to cabins and public areas onboard ship, Global Travel Alliance requires that all high school age students traveling with a senior class group must pay a $50.00 security deposit. If the group is comprised of college students, the security deposit is raised to $100.00 per student. The groups’ chaperones are not required to pay this deposit. Failure to comply with the guidelines outlined in the Parent / Guardian, Student, and Chaperone forms given you will first result in the offender(s) losing his or her security deposit, and if the problem persists, he or she may be removed from the ship in the next port of call to find his or her own way home. Alternatively, the disruptive guest(s) may be detained in their stateroom for the duration of the voyage. On the day of embarkation, a Global Travel Alliance representative will hold an orientation meeting onboard the ship. Every group must attend this meeting. If for any reason a group fails to attend this meeting, Global Travel Alliance retains the right to withhold all or part of the total deposit amount for the entire group. Security deposits will be returned within four weeks after your sailing date provided the guidelines for conduct have been met.
Alcoholic Beverage and Gaming Policy
In order to maintain our contracts with the cruise lines, Global Travel Alliance ensures that all passengers under the age of 21 that are traveling as a group are prohibited from not only the consumption of alcoholic beverages, but also from use of the casinos onboard ship. Each group leader or lead chaperone must sing and return the Alcoholic Beverage and Gaming affidavit, stating that they have informed their group of this stipulation. Regardless of the drinking age onboard the vessel, no one under the age of 21 will be allowed to purchase or consume any alcoholic beverage. Likewise, all students under the age of 21 will not be allowed in the casino, regardless of whether or not the vessel has entered international waters. Violation of these guidelines will first result in the offender(s) losing his or her security deposit, and if the problem persists, he or she may be removed from the ship in the next port of call to find his or her own way home. Alternatively, the disruptive guest(s) may be detained in their stateroom for the duration of the voyage. Please keep in mind that these policies are strictly enforced regardless of whether or not the group leaders agree with them. Student safety always comes first, and all other rules will support that concern.
Group Curfew Times
All passengers under the age of 18 that are traveling as a member of a group must adhere to a 1:00AM cabin curfew. Each cruise line strictly enforces this curfew and failure to abide by this curfew may result in a warning from the ship. Each chaperone is responsible for insuring that his or her group abides by this curfew.
Chaperone Acknowledgement of Responsibility
Each groups’ chaperones are responsible for ensuring their group adheres to the policies outlined in the Parent/Guardian, Student, and Chaperone guidelines. In the event that a chaperone fails to meet his or her responsibilities, the vessel’s Group Coordinator will issue a warning to that person. A second failure shall result in a warning from the vessel’s Hotel Manager. A third failure will be referred to the Master of the vessel with recommendation that the chaperone and the disruptive students be disembarked at either the current port of call or the next port of call (if at sea). If the Master of the vessel considers an infraction serious enough to justify immediate disembarkation, he may dispense with the issuance of warnings, in his sole discretion. In the event that a chaperone purchases alcohol of any kind for a person under the age of 21, that individual will be, without exception, prosecuted to the full extent of the law and be expelled from the ship at the current or next port of call.

ALL GROUPS:
DEPOSIT POLICY
Deposits are non-refundable, but can be credited to a new person’s account up to 125 days prior to sailing. Global Travel Alliance and the cruise line reserve the right to make changes in the itinerary, accommodations, and services, provided the situation warrants such action. Tour rates are based on the number of persons stated in the contract. Please carefully review payment due dates, name change and cancellation policies. This contains very important information and we adhere strictly to our policies, with no exceptions.
Final payment to the cruise lines must be made 75 days prior to sailing date. If you miss this deadline, your group’s trip may become jeopardized and/or they may have to pick up their cruise tickets at the port. This will make embarkation extremely difficult!
Deposits are non-refundable. NO EXCEPTIONS!

PRICE INCREASES
Cruise prices are not subject to change during the 2006 season. However, if the US Government or local port authority raises port charges/taxes and/or institutes a fuel surcharge, it will become necessary that the increase be passed on to the group.
LATE PAYMENTS
Payments made to our office which are passed the payment due date are considered late. Payments which are not made on time always jeopardize your group losing your spot on the sailing. Late payments will be assessed a mandatory $30.00 late fee per person (if paying individually) or $200 late fee per group (if paying as group). Please refer to your contract or ask your Global Travel Alliance Representative for payment due dates. If you know a payment is going to be late, contact your Global Travel Alliance Representative immediately so that we know you still plan on traveling. Late payment fees still apply in such cases.
All checks must be made payable to: Global Travel Alliance, Inc.
All payments and prices listed are United States currency.
